Istanbul-based internship on Central Asia and Balkans with the ICG

Position: Europe Program Intern.

Requirements: Postgraduate degree in political science, conflict studies, public administration or similar; Knowledge of the Caucasus, Turkey and Balkans and conflict issues; Professional experience within a EU institution and/or an international relations environment/NGO desirable.

Languages: excellent verbal and written command of English and a good knowledge of Russian.

Where: Istanbul, Turkey.

When: four to six months starting in December 2011

Pay: unpaid, though a small stipend for lunch and transport is provided.
