EU looking for cooperation and aid management specialists


The EU has launched an open competitions to recruit administrators. The profiles sought are three: archival science, information technology, and cooperation and management of aid to non Member States.

It’s obviously the latter that interests us, even though it’s definitely not an entry-level position. The complete notice of competition details all the requirements. I summarize the main points below:

b) Having a thorough knowledge of one of the official languages of the European Union (Main language) and a satisfactory knowledge of English, French or German (Second language, must be different from Main language).

Istanbul-based internship on Central Asia and Balkans with the ICG

Minority Rights Group training programme

Make sure to head to Mladiinfo and check this interesting training programme on advocacy and human rights in Central Asia by Minority Rights Group International (MRG).

What it offers:
i)                    12 week online course.
ii)                   Live Training on Advocacy and Lobbying for selected participants.
iii)                 In Country Follow Up for selected participants will be provided with small grants from Minority Rights Group.
iv)                 International Exchange Visits for selected participants.

The eligibility criteria are very detailed, I summarise the main points below:
-         Applicants must be working for organisations, working in or monitoring human rights in the following countries: Azerbaijan, Georgia, Kyrgyzstan, Macedonia, Moldova, Russia, Tajikistan, Turkey, Ukraine.
